Product Exchanges

Q: How can I exchange a product purchased from Gates Digital?

A: If you wish to exchange a product, please contact our customer care within 14 days of receipt. We will facilitate the pickup for items in their original, unopened packaging, complete with the receipt, warranty card, and any free gifts or accessories. Note the following:

Space Fit: Ensure the product dimensions suit your intended space as detailed online.

Color Verification: While we endeavor to present product colors accurately on our website, variations can occur due to monitor differences.

Restocking Fee: For opened items that are returned in new condition, a restocking fee of 30% is applicable if the product does not meet your space or color requirements.

Q: What if the product I purchased is defective?

A: Contact our customer care team within 14 days of delivery for assistance with defective products. We will arrange for the product to be collected. A replacement will be provided upon return if the item is accompanied by the warranty card and receipt. If a repair or replacement is not feasible, you will have the option for a refund or to keep the item at a reduced price based on its condition and usage.

 

Lemon Law and Defects

Q: How am I protected under the lemon law for defective goods?

A: In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, Gates Digital reserves the right to prove (or, if the breach appears more than 6 months after delivery, require you to disprove) that the product was of satisfactory quality and complied with the terms of purchase at the time of delivery. If the repair or replacement is not reasonably possible or cannot be done without significant inconvenience, you may choose to keep the defective good and request a partial refund, or return it and ask for a full refund. The full refund will consider the product’s condition resulting from your use.

– There are no exchanges or refunds for GiftCards and downloadable content.
